The difficulties for young people in opening their first bank account

Jeff King is the CEO of MyMahi an innovative app which connects with Colleges throughout New Zealand and has advertisements for part-time work.  However, 30% of young people do not have a bank account and the process is difficult to navigate for paretns/guardians and young people.  Further if you don't have a bank account a young person cannot get an IRD number.
