This morning a group from the club attended a Thank you from the students at the Epuni St School. We were welcomed with a beautiful waiata followed by short speeches from the chosen students. Some students were very nervous and others more confident. The event was attended by other volunteers who assist at the school during the year, such as sports coaches, readers from the Reading Assistance program, Rotary members and the Breakfast club.
The event ended with the students singing a rousing song of thanks and handing out Thank you cards to all the volunteers.
